Why does StudioRack say, "DISABLED" when loading Waves presets?
There is 2 main reasons why this is happening:
1) Make sure you have the necessary plugins purchased from waves.com. The needed plugins can be found on the product page of any Waves Vocal Preset.
2) This is due to license issues with the Waves Plugins. If the Waves Plugins are not purchased directly from Waves.com - StudioRack will NOT work. If they are NOT licensed, there are two other ways to use the vocal preset. There are two (2) other folders labeled "2 Individual Plugins" and "3 MP4 Video". The "2 Individual Plugins" folder has numbered presets in order of where each plugin should be in a mixer insert. Load them individually within any mixer slot that accepts third-party plugins. Lastly, there is an MP4 video that will show everything in the preset kit used. This will show the knobs, tweaks, and numbers used to create the vocal preset. Copy the MP4 video from scratch to obtain the final desired sound.
